Our Story
A Family Legacy of Craftsmanship
Built to Last Construction was founded in 1979 by Rob Psulkowski, a master craftsman with a passion for historic restoration and fine carpentry. Over the years, Rob meticulously restored landmark homes and commercial properties, earning industry recognition for his dedication to preserving the past.
In 2019, Rob’s son Dylan joined the company, bringing fresh insight and modern construction methodologies to the family business. His expertise in engineering, operations, and lean methodologies has helped streamline the company’s processes while maintaining its tradition of craftsmanship.
With the addition of Anthony, a systems engineer and efficiency expert, the company has further enhanced its approach to project management, quality control, and construction optimization. His background in industrial engineering and process improvement allows Built to Last to operate at peak efficiency while maintaining exceptional quality and craftsmanship.
Today, Built to Last Construction remains family-owned and operated, serving Fernandina Beach and beyond.

Founder
With over 40 years of experience, Rob is a specialist in historic restoration, fine carpentry, and high-end construction. His passion for preserving history is evident in every project, from meticulously restored homes to custom-built commercial spaces.
Dylan Psulkowski
CEO
A second-generation builder, Dylan combines his background in engineering and business operations with his hands-on expertise in construction management. Under his leadership, we have integrated modern building techniques while maintaining a commitment to traditional craftsmanship.
Anthony Psulkowski
Vice President
Anthony brings a background in industrial engineering, process optimization, and quality control to the company. His expertise ensures that projects are managed efficiently and operations run smoothly. With a focus on sustainability and innovation, he plays a key role in enhancing our capabilities.
Taylor
Office Administrator
Taylor is the machine that keeps us running from behind the scenes. Responsible for all billing, financial management, and operational organization, Taylor ensures that every project runs smoothly. Previously, Taylor was the backbone of a local surveying company, making her the perfect fit for our team.
Ryan Hain
Project Manager
With over 30 years of experience, Ryan has done it all. From building and restoring homes in Historic Downtown Charleston, to constructing new builds in Bluffton, South Carolina. With his immense construction knowledge, Ryan ensures that every job runs smoothly and is held to the same level of meticulous detail regardless of the project.
